Spartanburg Touchdown/Tip-Off Club
Announces 2006-07Programs, Speakers
SPARTANBURG, SC – The Spartanburg
Touchdown/Tip-Off Club opens its 2006-07 season on Friday,
Sept. 8, with Wofford College head football coach Mike Ayers
as the featured speaker.
The club
meets from noon to 1 p.m. at the Spartanburg Marriott at
Renaissance Park. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guests;
no reservations are required, and you can pay at the door.
Individual
memberships are available for $75 per year. Corporate
memberships (for four employees) are $200. A Lunch Table
Membership, which includes four lunch passes per meeting, is
$500. To join, send your name, address, telephone number(s)
and e-mail address, along with a check (payable to Spartanburg
Touchdown/Tip-Off Club) to PO Box 182, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
The club
meets Sept. 9 through Dec. 15 and Jan. 5 through May 25, 2007,
at the Marriott. In addition to the featured speakers, the
club presents awards to outstanding high school and college
student-athletes.

Scott, both great former football players from the University
of South Carolina
October 13 – Brad Scott, assistant had coach, Clemson

October 20 – Phil Kornblut, sports talk radio host, South
Carolina Network
October 27 – Don Yaeger, Sports Illustrated assistant editor
NOVEMBER
November 3 – Bill Rosinski, Sports Talk on ESPN 1400 and the
Carolinas
November 10 – Jim Szoke, Carolina Panthers color commentator

November 17 – Danny Ford, national champion Clemson University
