Todd Ellis, in his third year as play-by-play announcer
for the University of South Carolina football on the Gamecock
Radio Network, has been with the network for 13 seasons. He is the all-time leading passer and winningest quarterback
in Gamecock history, playing from 1986 to 1989. Ellis re-wrote the school's
passing records during his career, where he set more than 20 school passing marks,
while throwing for 9,953 yards. He led USC to the 1987 Gator Bowl and the
1988 Liberty Bowl. The 1987 squad finished at No. 15 in the final national
polls. Ellis was named Team MVP three of his four years at Carolina and
lettered from 1986-89. He is a graduate of USC Law School and works as
