Szoke, Carolina Panthers color commentator
and sports director of WBT Radio
Color
commentator Jim Szoke rounds out the on-air team for the
Carolina Panthers. Szoke's wit and wisdom have led to an
impressive collection of awards and experience. As
sports director for WBT, the Panthers flagship radio station,
he anchors the morning and afternoon drive sports. His
past work includes television play-by-play announcing for
ABC Sports and Raycom Sports in addition to being the radio
voice for the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and
Davidson College basketball. Szoke graduated from Bowling
Green State University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in
journalism. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sandra,
and has two children, Andy and Holly.
