Steve Cunningham dead at 57

Stephen Kent Cunningham Sr., owner of the Spartanburg Crickets and president of the Spartanburg Touchdown/Tip-Off Club, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007.  (Read more)

Steve, 57, was the husband of Donna Morano Cunningham.

 
Born on Oct. 28, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, he was the only child of the late Elwood and Martha Arnold Cunningham.  Mr. Cunningham was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, where he served as a Navy Corpsman with the Marine Corps.
 
In addition to his wife, Mr. Cunningham is survived by two sons, Stephen Jr. and Michael Joseph, and a daughter Kristina Marie Pilat, who was married Oct. 13.
